So she's not so appealing, but her video for 'Smile' basically makes that song, which I first came across on the Swish Blog way before she started heating up the blogs on this continent. Or shall we say Sophie Mueller's video for 'Smile' makes that song, though I am still obsessing over the pink curtains part of the 'Hips Don't Lie' video to almost care that she's moved onto shooting for yet more artists- or shall artists be in quotation marks since this is about Lily and on a blog? and boy does this girl get it when it comes to blogs-her own and on others. At times I like the girl, other times I don't. She should however be commended: there are only two cringe worthy moments on the album. I love how that's a triumph!
I do like what she said about Carl Barat and the Kooks. It was funny. My friend and I were in agreement after I bumped into Carl at a party in January. He was basically a snob, but when Lily says the same thing, my friend is up in arms. And man-the lead singer of the Kooks has a whole new breed of stage presence as I witnessed when they supported Editors at the Barfly in December, but again, have to agree with Lily.
And Oh My God! She just got signed in the US
