Hadouken! blows my speaker

So I was actually going to do an "On this day. . ." post about last year's NME awards tour and seeing BYOP for the first time, but I discovered this and it's way more inspiring.

I heard their remix of Bloc Party's 'The Prayer' on Good Weather for Airstrikes and had to know more. So I stumbled onto their myspace and it pretty much sealed the deal. Well, actually watching the above video did since at first I thought they were just a remix crew that played instruments, but after seeing the vid I am now fully aware of how crazily original they are.

Plus they're all cool in that Panic! at the Disco way with their exclamation point.

They have a blog that fills you into what they're listening to: http://www.hadoukenblog.blogspot.com/

'The Bounce' Hadouken! MP3

P.S. Oh-and according to this they're still doing remixes for free. Not for long I assume.

P.P.S. I'll likely still do the originally planned post, just do it in February and back date it. NotGL will likely/hopefully return to regular posting in February. Stay tuned.

I checked these out around Christmas. They're quite cool; sounds like Yes Boss meets Test Icicles, from what I've heard.

Very nice video.
