(snapped by me from atop the bar @ Rio in Berlin)
This is my favorite playlist I've done yet. I really hope you enjoy it just as much! Hopefully you'll find something new among what you already know in it. This is what I'm currently listening to minus the Cat Power, Fall Out Boy, Tyler Fedchuk reedits, and Basement Jaxx.

Horny - Thunderheist
They're kinda like crack. Except not bad for you.
I've taken it upon myself to become a dealer. You can too -- by spreading their myspazz around. Ready? Go go go go!!
I Believe/I Bealive (I've seen it spelled both ways) - Simian Mobile Disco
Remember when they were just Simian? Then they didn't reach too much success and James Ford discovered the joy of production so they kind of broke up, but two of them continued to DJ? And then they got popular all over again via some remix or something, so they basically reformed, minus one member, and with the words Mobile Disco.
Track lifted from Matt Wright's blog
Free Stress Test - Professor Murder
With their name, you really wouldn't think they'd sound like this, at least I didn't.
This track does kill (haha)
Turned onto them thanks to Finger On The Pulse myspace.
They're playing the Pitchfork Festival in July. I'm debating whether to go to it. I was already planning on heading out to Chi-town in August for Lollapolooza as I've got two people to stay with, but I don't know. I kinda really wanna try to go back to Lowlands in Holland and also hit up Reading in August. I also may be going to Japan on tour with a band. I'm not sure what my budget constrains will be as I'm pretty broke now, and I don't see any windfall coming my way.
(PS-If you wanna know how to go to Euro festivals for super cheap, email me - I have plenty of tips - everyone should go regardless of where you live)
Something Kinda Ooooh - Girls Aloud
Guilty pleasure? Nahhh - I wear my Girls Aloud lover badge with pride, thanks to Helen, Chris and Take Your Medicine, who blazed the trail making it okay to be a Girls Aloud fan publicly.
This song is hot enough though to never be hidden (I'm talking tracks like 'The Show' and 'Love Machine' - man they're good)
Favorite girl?
I like the ginger one, I love Nadine, but I think Sarah wins because she's so fierce.
Prince Harry - Soho Dolls
Poptones sent me a promo when I was doing my mag Toaster that contained this track.
Right now I'm saving up all my USDs for a plane ticket.
So jumping off of Soho Dolls and onto Poptones head honcho Alan McGee - I totally used to see him at shows in Glasgow. He was always surrounded by young beautiful girls. I wonder why?
Love Like Semtex - Infadels (Metronomy Remix)
Word: Semtex
Definition: A very pliable, odorless plastic explosive.
I love when people spell out words in their songs - Uffie, Hot Chip, . . . the Mickey Mouse Club theme.
I'm One of Those Girls - Born Ruffians
I missed them by minutes when they opened for Hot Chip and Shy Child. I am now in love with them. All I had to hear was 'This Sentence Will Ruin/Save Your Life'.
I wanna cover this song. Watch out.
Red Shirt Reunitorss - Deep Jail
Brace Paine on vocals. Get ready to dance and celebrate lofi at it's hottest. At one point, Steve Aoki was releasing Deep Jail stuff via Dim Mak.
Expertly self-described as "dancefloor fashion art terrorism."
22 Grand Job - The Rakes
I blogged about this song/The Rakes in one of my super early entries.
Circle Square Triangle - Test Icicles
The 22nd of April was just the anniversary of their last ever show. Sadness. Tears. STILL MY FAVORITE EVER BAND.
I Don't Want to Have Sex with You - Soldout (Spank Rock remix)
Ripped from a Smashed Robot mix, because I have the original, but I like Spank Rock's remix better.
I was going to do a "God Bless the Belgians" week last year -- I wrote out the posts, but they're still only saved as drafts.
Je Veux Te Voir - Yelle
Included in this previous podcast: Hail to the Swish Podcast
Klaxons vs Hadouken! aka an Atlantis to Interzone remix - Hadouken!
This was of course uncommisioned. Jamie of Klaxons loves this remix, Simon has yet to hear it. No word on James.

Your Mangled Heart - Gossip

Pieces of the People We Love - The Rapture
So funny! I first heard this on the blog I Was There, only it was uncredited, so I fell in love with it, and listened to it often, then months later found out it was the Rapture and didn't love it as much. Which is funny, because I LOVE the Rapture!
Dead Disco - Metric
Is this striking you as political?

What no Jerrrrkit by thunder heist? There would be disappointment except that any thunder heist is better than none.
Great mix!
When are you going to start your dj career?

Sarah is the best Girls Aloud. She's a badass. Love her. I adore Nicola (the ginger), too.
