Hey B.C. - Proud Parents @ 1/2ALIVE tonight!

I got into Vancouver on Wednesday at 5 and in less than two hours had two DJ gigs booked for me and my "pal MEG." As it goes, our former incarnation of Party All the Time died for our sins and we are now to be known as Proud Parents. Expect us to drop our current moniker in about three DJ gigs for a symbol that has yet to be decided upon as of yet.
So why Proud Parents? Because that's how we act with the bands we love. We screencap their accomplishments such as appearing in Myspace's Top Artists or on the frontpage of the site and proclaim their every achievement to anyone who will listen.

Anywaysss - occasional iheartcomix  blogger My!Gay!Husband! hooked us up with a slot at his Thursday night shindig Blastramp. While Jason's away, the blogging ladies will DJ. We got down on it with the help of my new favorite person Zia of Crooks & Gunn. Two minutes after meeting him he agreed to help us out after 1/2ALIVE's TonyX was all slow in showing up at the Burbon. See, we're not totally confident when it comes to Serato and need a chaperon. Zia fulfilled that duty and went way beyond. He rocks!

Tonight we play a 40 minute set at 1/2ALIVE where Meg is the resident photog.
